The estate of Jimmy Staggs and Valene Staggs have listed for sale a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 657 Glenwood Road in Lake Forest for $789,000.

Gaye Sodke of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is the agent for the listing. The 3,136-square-foot home was built in 1964 in the Whispering Oaks subdivision.

Mr. Staggs was a radio disc jockey at Chicago's WCFL. He also worked in radio in Birmingham, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Milwaukee and Cleveland.

After leaving the radio business in 1975, he formed Record City, a record store chain in Chicago that closed in 2005.

He passed away in November 2007.

Ms. Staggs is owner of the Northshore antique dealership, Echo's Inc.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 314 sales in Lake Forest during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.025 million.
