Sony Pictures Television confirms that all NBC-owned NBC stations will be airing the new "Nate Berkus Show" starting this fall. That includes WMAQ-TV/NBC5 here in Chicago. While no time slots are yet finalized for the fall schedule, it is expected that "The Nate Berkus Show" will replace "The Bonnie Hunt Show" at 2pm on NBC5. Nate Berkus is a home and fashion designer who has been a frequent guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show since 2001. In addition to design, the daily television show is expected to focus on lifestyle, entertainment and personal transformation topics in a multi-segmented program. The show will be co-produced with Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions. This show is the second series partnership between Harpo and Sony TV following "The Dr. Oz Show," which successfully launched in September 2009. Like Bonnie Hunt, who he will be replacing, Nate Berkus is a native Chicagoan, who will probably be taping his show from Chicago, quite possibly from Oprah's Harpo Studios.
