ILLINOIS BIBLE INSTITUTE Christian WIBI/ST. LOUIS Production Director/Midday Host JOEL KROL is exiting the station and the radio biz. KROL has accepted a position as Associate Pastor at FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH in FARMER CITY, IL. His final day on the air will be SUNDAY, JANUARY 31st.
“My background in Christian radio has given me tremendous experience in relating with people and it's developed my heart for people, especially the hurting. You would not believe how many listeners call up and request prayer, encouragement and counsel. God has really used those opportunities to sharpen my tools," said KROL.
KROL has been with WIBI for three years. He began his radio career with SALEM COMMUNICATIONS in CHICAGO and later moved to MISSOURI VALLEY BROADCASTING Country KMMO/KANSAS CITY and MID AMERICA RADIO GROUP Christian WVNI (SPIRIT 95)/BLOOMINGTON, IN.
