Wow - a one-year is extremely rare for CBS Radio. Even the newbies usually start with 2 or 3-year deals. I realize we're in the midst of an economic crisis, but I doubt that affected her contract situation. Maybe it was a trial run. I think she's doing fine - as fine as Nikki can be (I'll withhold my criticisms). I'm not sure who else they would put in that spot if Nikki wasn't renewed, I doubt they would bring anyone in from another market. Probably promote from maybe an intern or part-timer if they follow their normal procedures.
