Richard Roeper's movie reviews come to Hulu.com
Chicago Sun-Times columnist Richard Roeper's movie reviews for Starz cable now are available on Hulu.com, making the ad-supported Web site not just somewhere to watch a movie online but a place to see whether it's worth leaving the house to see one, too.
"Richard Roeper & the Movies" has its own Hulu page, along with being available at richardroeper.com. At this writing, it's also featured among the "Recently Added Shows" in the lower-right corner of Hulu's home page.
The popular, nearly 3-year-old video-streaming site, whose co-owners include NBC Universal, News Corp., and The Walt Disney Corp. Disney, of course, used to showcase Roeper's reviews in another way, opposite Roger Ebert on the Chicago-based syndicated program now known as "At the Movies."
Roeper's latest book, "Bet the House: How I Gambled Over a Grand a Day for 30 Days on Sports, Poker, and Games of Chance," is due out this spring from Chicago Review Press.
