Well, back in the day WZRK was WMIR and it was a local community station for Lake Geneva prior to the mid 90s when it became a simmulcast of WAUK Milwaukee (1510 at the time) which had a poor signal in Kenosha
The nighttime 1 watt was never used past WMIR. I'm guessing if it was ever used they used it for local high school sporting events that were airing after sunset. The 1 watt manages to cover most of Lake Geneva proper
: What is the purpose/benefit of a night-time AM signal of one watt? Or even a few watts? Heck, let's go with 10 or 20. Why not just be a day-timer? I know it has to do with classification, but come on, single digit wattage?
