Congratulations to WGN-AM 720 overnight duo Steve King and Johnnie Putman, who last year celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary and on Valentine's Day will mark 25 years since their first on-air pairing on Chicago Tribune parent Tribune Co.'s radio station.

Dan Fabian, then WGN-AM's program director, had long wanted a male/female broadcast team. An earlier teaming of Michael Feldman and Catherine Catalane was a bust. Steve and Johnnie lasted, and that's no mean feat.

Plenty of marriages don't last that long, even without an open microphone.

Later this year, incidentally, will mark the 25th anniversary for Feldman's subsequent public radio program "Whad'ya Know," based out of Madison, Wis. Catalane, meanwhile, is now a part-time anchor for Chicago's WBBM-AM 780 after many years anchoring for Washington's WTOP, and in May will have been married 29 years to ABC News' Chris Bury.

Janet Parshall, who left Salem Communications last month after 15 years, is moving her daily radio show, "Janet Parshall's America," to the Chicago-based Moody Radio network, effective May 3. Moody Radio launched Parshall's Saturday show, “Talking it Over with Janet Parshall,” in October 2007. "Moody Radio is the broadcasting gold standard for the proclamation of biblical truth," Parshall said in a statement.

"Stocks and Jocks" with Tom "The Chief" Haugh and Jon "Dr. J" Najarian -- the original monsters and money in the morning when on CBS Radio's WSCR-AM 670 from 2002 to '08 -- has been resurrected on WSBC-AM 1240, where it can be heard weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 7 a.m.

The Chicago Blackhawks' second installment of "Blackhawks TV" is set to air Sunday at 6:30 p.m. on Chicago Tribune parent Tribune Co.'s WGN-Ch. 9, or immediately after Channel 9's 4 p.m. telecast of the Hawks' game at Columbus, Ohio.

An offbeat collection of quick segments the team has produced to showcase players and their personalities off the ice, this is a follow-up to the wry, entertaining inaugural effort that ran Dec. 25 on Comcast SportsNet Chicago. And unlike that first half-hour, this one will feature all new material not yet available on the team's chicagoblackhawks.com Web site or elsewhere.
