Sky Daniels Joins RED

MARATHON MEDIA VP/Programming SKY DANIELS has joined RED/SONY BMG Sr. Director, Artist Development, effective TODAY (6/2).

SKY's illustrious career -- which began in programming in the '70s -- includes many years in record promotion at ISLAND/DEF JAM and SONY. He also was the Alternative Editor at R&R for five years.

DANIELS notes, "I promise you, when I bring a record to you -- I will have done my best to define it's relevance to your audience, market, and target psychographic -- BEFORE I ask you to consider it."

He continues, "I also will do everything I can to bring that record to life in your market -- to help activate and grow acceptance by your listeners."
