"Their loss is our gain.
Adam Rosen, formerly with the Suburban Life Publications, has joined The Mark News Online as our Chief Correspondent.
Rosen has spent the last two years as a staff reporter with the Suburban Life, covering Lombard and Villa Park until last September when he was asked to take over as
reporter for the Berwyn Life. In his six months in Berwyn, Adam broke several stories before all other media outlets and maintained a great relationship with the Berwyn
City Council and many others throughout the city.
"After parting ways with the life last week, we reached out to Rosen. 72 hours later, a deal was in place for him to cover Berwyn news, along with Brookfield and North
Riverside," shared Publisher Mario Lavorato.
"I am excited to have Adam on board," expressed President Sandra Anderson. "He brings fresh ideas and compliments our hard working ethic at The Mark News Online".
A graduate from Columbia College in Chicago, Rosen has been the first responder to many breaking news stories around the western suburbs. He most recently was the first
reporter on the scene during the McCook chemical plant stand-off and the last to leave.
Along with covering suburban news, Rosen has freelanced covering the Chicago Rush and Chicago Slaughter professional indoor football teams over the past four years.
You can e-mail Rosen at adam@themarknewsonline.info or call him at 708/743-5413 with your story ideas, news tips or to just welcome him back to covering local news."
