Earlier last month, a post here talked about WDRV's sponsoring of a rare Patti Smith live appearance and book signing at the Harold Washington Library on February 21st. The Chicago Public Radio website now has the audio recording of Smith reading from her book and playing an acoustic set up on their website. You can hear that recording, which runs over an hour, at the link below. In addition to the book reading and music, Smith also talks about her earliest memories of growing up in Chicago.
