well someone like bruce wolf who brings name notoriety probably gets a set rate per show, as negotiated by their agent. it's probably something like double what a normal part timer gets. the part timer wage in the city of chicago proper ranges anywhere from minimum wage to $50 per hour depending on if the station is unionized. also, the wage can vary from part timer to part timer based on what management sees as value: talent or potential.
: I would be curious, when someone like Bruce Wolf or like today Glen Koslowski host a shift on the radio, what do you think they get paid. I am assuming they dont have a formal contract, just maybe an agreement for a single show a series of shows. I would just be curious.
