When the Spanish language television program "Orgullo Sox" premieres next month, there will be a pair of new ingredients. First of all, the show is moving from Telemundo's WSNS 44, where it has been for the last three years, to Univision's WGBO 66. The second big change is a brand new co-host for Omar Ramos in Cynthia Jaramillo.

In February of this year, a search began for a new female co-host of the show for it's fourth season to replace Johana Londono, who exited at the end of last season. By the start of this month, the search was narrowed down to four finalists. The four finalists were selected by a panel of judges that included co-host Omar Ramos of Univision Radio Chicago, White Sox Spanish radio announcer Ozzie Guillen Jr. and Aileen Ocana, also of Univision Radio. At that point, fans went online at OrgulloSox.com and were allowed to vote who they thought would be the best choice. The big winner was Cynthia Jaramillo, a native South Sider and the current Miss Illinois Latina 2010. She is a life long fan of the White Sox and a Senior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, who graduates in two months.

"I am thrilled to be a part of the 'Orgullo Sox' team and have the opportunity to cover my favorite team, the White Sox, in what I hope is a championship season," said Jaramillo. "This will be an exciting year for the show and I look forward to bringing the Latino community and Spanish-speaking fans the best of White Sox baseball."

Jaramillo will start her role as co-host when the fourth season of "Orgullo Sox" starts April 18th on Univision. The 30 minute "Orgullo Sox" show (which translates to "Sox Pride") will air 12 episodes throughout the Chicago White Sox's regular season.
