Former Chicago radio and television personality turned author, Jenniffer Weigel began a new monthly live show at the Wilmette Theatre called "Wednesdays with Weigel." The live show features an interview with a media star, author, speaker, or somebody of interest, conducted by Jenniffer Weigel. (In addition to her own impressive resume, Jenniffer is also known for being the daughter of well-loved Chicago sports & news anchor, Tim Weigel, and the sister to actor/sportscaster Rafer Weigel, as well as the wife to Chicago news & traffic reporter Clay Champlin.)
Her first guest was Chicago Sun-Times columnist, author, movie reviewer and radio personality, Richard Roeper. The two are friends from the 90's when she was part of Roeper's radio show on AM1000. Roeper talked about his latest book, the recent Oscars, and shared fun stories with Weigel.
