WBBM-FM/B96 is getting ready to launch a brand new show this weekend. Sunday morning will see the premiere of "The Fab 30 Countdown with Perez Hilton." The weekly four-hour music countdown show will feature Hilton's music picks, along with entertainment news, hot gossip, celebrity interviews, and more.

Famed Internet gossiper, Perez Hilton (real name: Mario Lavandeira), already has a presence on B96, with his "Radio Perez" segments each weekday mornings at 7:40am on the J & Julian Morning Show, and his own page on the B96 website. Now he can be heard each Sunday, as well.

When the new program was announced last week, Perez Hilton said in a statement, "I am beyond excited for The Fab 30 because it is the perfect vehicle for my skills and passion -- celebrity news and music! Nobody does gossip like I do and over the years I have earned the respect of my readers and the industry alike with my music recommendations. I'm determined to produce the best weekly show out there with the best music, the best gossip and -- very importantly -- the best guests. I can hear Ryan Seacrest crying already!"

B96 is the one of the very first stations in the country to have the show. It only premieres here, New York and Los Angeles this weekend, although it is expected to be syndicated to numerous markets quickly. "The Fab 30 Countdown With Perez Hilton" is syndicated by Westwood One, in cooperation with C-Student Entertainment. The "Radio Perez" segments are syndicated by Citadel Media, so it is doubtful there will be much by way of cross promotion.

Perez Hilton's "Fab 30" launches Sunday, April 4th and airs from 5:00am until 9:00am on 96.3 FM.
