It has come to my attention that there will be a benefit in honor of late TV reporter Carlos Hernandez Gomez, who passed away not long ago at the young age of 36.
Carlos was a huge Beatles fan (like other media folks you might know ), and had many friends at the Fest For Beatles Fans each year. I never got a chance to hang with him there, but some of his Fest friends are putting together this benefit, to take place at Fitzgerald's in Berwyn, Thursday, April 8. More info at the link below.
Many musicians and figures in the local "Beatle community" will attend, and they asked me to share all the info so that you can attend, too! His family will appreciate the support of his fans and friends in the media and from the Fest. Proceeds reportedly will go to one of Carlos' pet charities for Haiti relief.
