Illinois Broadcasters Association Names Silver Dome Award Finalists

: The Illinois Broadcasters Association has announced the finalists for their annual Silver Dome Awards Contest. Now that the finalists have been chosen, judges from out of state will listen & watch the entries and decide who gets the honor of being named "Best of State - 2010" in each category. : The Silver Dome Awards are broken down between Radio and Television and then each are broken down between Large Market (Chicago market only), Medium Market (Bloomington-Normal, Champaign-Urbana, Decatur, Joliet, Marion-Carbondale, Peoria, Quad Cities, Quincy, Rockford, and Springfield), and Small Market (every other area in IL). : The finalists entered their work to be judged themselves, along with a fee. The competition is only open to IBA member stations. All of entries must have been produced and broadcast by stations between January 1, and December 31, 2009 only.
