I have no official inside word, but water cooler talk around our halls (I'm at a station on the other side of the dial), says that the boys went into Management's office on the 29th when CPT got the OK to be a full-timer and asked to do a live late night show. They were told there was no budget for it. So they even offered to pay for it until a budget could be found, like they do with the weekend show(broker). Management said no thanks.
: I was just listening to WCPT 820 AM and the immature boys were once again whining about their issues with their time slot and their overall treatment by management. They were saying in fact that this Saturday would be their last show. Anyone got the word? I unfortunately take anything they say with a grain of salt since they're constantly crying wolf and bitching about their position at the station. Here's a hint guys: YOU DONT HAVE A POSITION. YOU ARE A PAYING ADVERTISER BASICALLY. IT'S BROKERING. LOOK IT UP.
