I’m a broker. I broker my time during the week. At this point, I’m all in: $500,000.00 How is this sane? Am I nuts? I must be nuts. But I care that much. What’s with Progressives? What’s with Progressive Talk? Get this, I was supposed to have an event at Joey’s Brickhouse this Thursday, May 13th. But WCPT forced me to cancel, even though it was on my dime (they have me by the balls). This is how WCPT treats a struggling restaurant who was one of the first to advertise when AM820 was AM850 – more static than signal! It would have been nice to meet the Chicago Audience at Joey’s Brickhouse. I’ve gotten countless phone calls and emails saying how much the folks in Chicago adore “Family Values with an Oy Vey,” and will miss the show. Unfortunately, my hands are tied to my pockets (which are strangling my balls). It’s especially sad when you think about how well The Right takes care of their Radio Talent. On our side, we have to go broke, or broker, to keep the conversation truly “Fair & Balanced.” By the way, in the name of full disclosure, Greg offered to drive me from Belmont to the station on Pulaski after the event was over. Who does that? Either a mensch, an idiot or someone who’s all heart.
