I watched it too. To me it wasn't so bad that they were covering it, what was awful was how they did it.

Mark Strehl was not cool under pressure and whoever was producing the breaking weather coverage showed lack of experience. Mark was all over the place, as a media geek I couldn't understand what was even going on. Steve Baron was not used smartly if he even should have been used at all.

The woman caller who's trailerpark kid in the background yelled "MAMA'S ON T-V!!!"

It was a hot mess.
