Tonight = the Sox vs the Cubs. No... it's not time for the Crosstown Classic yet... This Friday is the launch of a new baseball reality show where a Sox fan & Cubs fan will verbally battle it out, each defending their favorite team. "Black and Blue City" is the name of this new & innovative Internet-based show. Every episode is hosted by legendary Chicago sports talker, Chet Coppock, who will also act as moderator between the two passionate sports fans.

Beginning this Friday, and then twice a week for the remainder of the baseball season, each episode will feature Chet Coppock throwing out subjects to be discussed and asking questions to two rabid Chicago baseball fans. Friday's premiere episode features Joel Radwanski and Matt Benson arguing for and about their baseball teams. (The fans will vary from episode to episode.) In a humorous, but raucous debate, the two sides will make their cases for their favorite ball club, be it the one on the north side of town, or the south side. It's a Crosstown Showdown!

Each episode can be seen on the show's brand new website, BlackAndBlueCity.com.

Episodes will be recorded live at Skybox on Sheffield (3627 N. Sheffield, Chicago) on the north side and Rocky's Bar & Grill (234 W. 31st St., Chicago) on the south side. The episode recordings are free to attend. A new casting call for more fanatical Sox & Cub worshipers will be going out soon, as well. Check the B&BC website for more information after Friday.

Information on the show, where/when tapings will occur and casting calls can also be found on Black & Blue City's new Facebook and Twitter pages.

BlackAndBlueCity.com with Chet Coppock is produced by Chicago's Central Coast Agency.
