If he's been a DJ for 15 years, then he started when he was like 10. Get off it.
As for his DJing, prior to getting the full-time night spot on KISS, he was "DJing" college dive bars. You couldn't find him anywhere of any importance. Now that he has the KISS card to drop, sure he's spun at a few good spots. But I think it says something that Maurice Halsted hasn't even allowed him to become a member of the "Beat Freaks". He just isn't "that" talented on the decks.
If he was "involved" with Q101 and B96 first then it was strictly in an intern role, since he started at KISS as an intern, who was promoted to promotions assistant, who was brought onto Ty's show as an intern, who was brought onto Mack's show as an intern, and his progression came from there. He has a lot of ego and is willing to step on anyone to get where he wants to go, which I can't hate on too much, but it should be known that's the way he is. He isn't some super-qualified guy who's paid his dues. There was a lot of luck and a lot of pushing people around that got him where he's at right now. Plus he's cheap.

: Scott has paid his dues a lot longer then 2006. He's been a DJ in this town for almost 15 years and has been involved with B96 and Q101 prior to his employment at Kiss...and anyone who goes through the Sludge Nation School of Broadcasting, is instantly on a path to success!
