Celebrate the music of Terry Kath ? legendary guitarist, vocalist, a
two-time Grammy Award winner and co-founder of the rock band
Chicago, on Thursday May 27, 2010, at Taft High School, Chicago, from
8:00 PM - 9:30 PM. This exciting event will follow Taft's "Singsation
2010? Show at 7:00 PM.
The Tribute Concert will feature performances by The 95th Street
Band, 25 or 6 to 4, members of the Taft High School Band and chorus, and
special guests:
Danny Seraphine (original drummer for Chicago, and now touring
regularly with his incredibly-talented band, California
Transit Authority).
James Guercio, long-time Chicago producer, musician, and owner of Caribou Recording Studio where he worked with artists such as Elton John, the Beach Boys, Joe Walsh, and others.
Kenny Cetera, Peter Cetera's younger brother, sang background vocals and performed percussion on Chicago 17, toured with the band for that season, and has performed with a variety of artists including Kenny Rogers, Bill Champlin, Richard Marx, and Agnetha Faltskog, plus still performs onstage and remains active in the studio.
