"I am excited to kick-off the summer with a renewed and revitalized organization," said Angela T. Ingram, Chicago Chapter President of AWM. "A strong membership will be our number one goal. We want our efforts to reach as many people as possible in the Chicagoland area. As a board, we will make sure our members are gaining the resources they need and deserve from AWM."
The board will be hosting its inaugural event, "Renew & Revive: An Introduction to the Chicago Chapter of the Alliance for Women in Media," on Monday, June 21 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. The event will take place on the newly remodeled rooftop of Market, located at 1113 W. Randolph St. in Chicago.
The Chicago Chapter of AWM is extending an open invitation to professional women and men in local media and allied fields to join them. College students are also welcome to attend.
