Michael Damsky, whose job as vice president and general manager of adult rock WXRT-FM (93.1) was eliminated earlier this year in budget cuts at CBS Radio, could be getting back in the business soon.

He's said to be at the top of the list to join Citadel Broadcasting as director of sales for news/talk WLS-AM (890) and oldies WZZN-FM (94.7).

Damsky was a 24-year veteran of WXRT who became only its third general manager in history.
