A similar thing happened last night on NBC5 during the end of Last Comic Standing.

: What was up with the last two episodes? Fox Chicago broke away from the show at crucial judging points and inserted snippets of commercials, newscast promos, and then abruptly went back to SYTYCD. It happened numerous times on both the Wednesday AND Thursday shows. One night I could understand.. but two.. someone in the control room must really not like the show and is trying to piss off viewers.
