The new CBS2 News hires/line-up

I have to say that I find myself leaving the TV on CBS2 in the morning, and that is a huge statement as I'm normally first to switch over to WGN Morning News or peek in at Fox Chicago's Good Day show. I've always viewed CBS as the old people's network, and I've also viewed CBS 2 News as sub-par.

The slightly tweaked graphics and music package works. The new hires work. The direction of the newscasts works. I only wonder why it took so long to "get here" - that new guy has been in the driver's seat for a long while (I can't remember his name; the one who replaced Ahern).
