Before Twitter, there was Carl Bonafede. The native Chicagoan is 140 characters rolled into one. Known in the 1960s as The Screaming Wildman, Bonafede was a high-pitched commercial pitchman; he co-produced the Buckinghams No. 1 hit Kind of a Drag; he was a record promoter, talent scout and he is a clothes horse.

Despite all the noise, he remains a muted figure in Chicago rock n roll history.
