I can't help you here, because I never noticed it either. However I do seem to recall that he was always angled with the right-facing side of his face away from the camera, so you could be right that it's always been there. I'm sure there's a backstory if so.

Probably a combo of both. Everyone on WFLD looks a little dead. Bob Sirott looks god awful pale compared to the warm tones he showed on WMAQ. On the other hand, Jeff's eyes are dead and sleepy.
: - is there just better lighting and equipment or is he using some different makeup and hair people? he looks, even with the scar - significantly more handsome. i always felt he looked dead on fox.
