Meier going for 11 wins in a row when broadcasting live from the UC
April 22, 2011 – WGN Radio afternoon host Garry Meier has been the Chicago Blackhawks’ lucky charm this season. In the ten match-ups when Meier has broadcast live from the United Center before the game, the Blackhawks hold a 10-0 record. This Sunday, Meier and the team look to extend the streak to 11 games as Garry hosts a special Easter Sunday edition of his show from 5-6:20 p.m. He will remain at the “ketchup & mustard pumpers” broadcast location at the Gate 6 concourse across from the Budweiser Select Brew Pub and Carvery before the Blackhawks take on the Canucks in game six of the Stanley Cup western conference quarterfinals series.
