It's really refreshing to have a Chicago Sports Superstar who isn't full of himself and simply wants to win more than anything else. Gems like this don't come along very often. I'm sure McNeil thought Ryno and Andre Dawson were dull too, but just because they don't serve your purpose and make good copy for a four hour boring sports talk radio gabfest or an amateur newspaper column is no reason to say they are dull, is it?
McNeil is a pompous jerk who is like a lot of sports personalities is way too full of himself.
