Celebrate the music of Terry Kath- guitarist, 2 time Grammy winner and co-founder of rock group Chicago while raising funds for charities that support music education in the Chicago area as well as help support teens battling cancer.
Featured performers include CTA- California Transit Authority led by Danny Seraphine, original drummer and co-founder of Chicago; The Buckinghams; The Emerald Underground, an Irish Band that is Celtic fusion at its best with Joe Kath Jr. on fiddle; Kenny Cetera, percussionist, vocalist and younger brother of Peter Cetera; Joe Iaquinto, respected veteran of the Los Angeles music scene, who has performed with Stephen Bishop, Rita Coolidge, Walela, Billy Preston, Wayne Newton, Chicago, and others; Chicago Tribute Anthology, a 7 piece tribute band; and James Guercio, musician, legendary producer, and owner of Caribou Ranch Recording Studio where he has worked with musicians including the Beach Boys, Elton John, and Joe Walsh. Guercio was the producer who brought The Buckinghams to national prominence, and after he left them, he joined Columbia Records where he became the producer for Chicago through their first 11 albums.
Proceeds will benefit the Terry Kath Music Scholarship at DePaul University; the Taft High School Music Department; and McAvoy Foundation's/Good Looks for Kids with Cancer that provides adolescents battling cancer with items such as wigs and glasses.
