Pat Hughes and Keith Moorland addressed an ongoing alleged feud they were supposedly having in their inaugural year as the new play by play WGN Radio broadcast tandem. The jocular discussion took place during the third inning of tonight's game against the San Francisco Giants.
A sports reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle who used to cover Moorland when he spent a year with the San Diego Padres asked him about the reports coming out of Chicago that the two weren't getting along.
As it turns out, those "reports" were nothing more than one post on an internet media message board. I searched for it here but didn't see it. It's likely on that SCOREHEAD message board that critiques WSCR, ESPN, and occasionally WGN.
If anyone sees it, please direct me there. Pat and Keith's back and forth comments about their rumored spat were hilarious!
