We just called the SCORE and Bernstein's phone screener all but confirmed the Mike North hire. We asked him if it was true, and he politely said, "Just keep it tuned to WSCR because an announcement would be coming soon!" Then the producer of the show took the phone from the screener and got rid of me without any confirmation. We're sure the phone screener/intern got a smack after my call. Ha ha!
