Merlin/Q101 getting lazy already

MERLIN MEDIA News WIQI (FM NEWS 101.1)/CHICAGO and crosstown NBC O&O WMAQ-TV (NBC 5) are testing a news partnership arrangement, reports TIME OUT CHICAGO.

The partnership started this week, and MERLIN VP ANDY FRIEDMAN told staffers that the radio station could use NBC 5 news material on newscasts and online and may share assignments and use the TV station's personnel.
