: 5:30 p.m. VIP RECEPTION

: Our Pre-Oscar VIP Event will be hosted by NBC5 anchors Kim Vatis and Stephen Holt, who have just signed on with their support. We are thrilled that NBC is supporting
our event again in 2012. Enjoy spectacular views of Chicago and suburbs at this intimate VIP reception at Ventana’s, located at rooftop level of the Hyatt Regency O’Hare.
Featuring live entertainment and special guests, our VIP’s will receive celebrity treatment before making their way down the red carpet. (Limited reservations for
reception.)

: 6:15 p.m. RED CARPET GUEST ARRIVALS

: With the swell of movie-themed music booming in the background and giant spotlights illuminating the night sky, our guests arrive in true Hollywood-style, making their
way down the red carpet and into the Grand Ballroom.

: Join Hilarious Comedienne and long time Autism Speaks supporter, Patti Vasquez and Emmy Award winning host of WGN’s Chicago’s Best Ted Brunson as they welcome guests on
our own Oscar Night red carpet with witty and spirited interviews. Patti and Ted will continue to play a supporting role throughout the entire night as well during our
live presentations and auction/raffle segments. Our thanks to Patti and Ted for being such strong supporters of Autism Speaks, and members of our honorary committee

: Inside the Grand Ballroom, Hollywood abounds as guests enjoy an open bar featuring movie themed cocktails and a creative menu of delicious hors d’oeuvres. As pre-show
video segments are displayed on the big screen, including “live from the red carpet” interviews and arrivals, guests mingle and shop, bidding on an amazing array of
auction and raffle items.

: 6:30 p.m. PRE-SHOW CELEBRATION

: Our guests enjoy a wonderful, Hollywood-themed pre-show celebration, featuring special live presentations and celebrity video greetings playing on the big screens.

: We’re pleased to announce Emmy award-winning radio and television broadcaster and sports personality Chet Coppock as this years celebrity auctioneer. Chet will be
working the crowds, selling our larger and most unique auction items to the highest bidder at the top of the show and during the commercial breaks.

: Guests will also be treated to a very special and unique multi-media segment about Autism, featured live on stage and screen.

: 7:30 p.m. THE ACADEMY AWARDS® TELECAST BEGIN.

: The big moment arrives as our guests enjoy the 84th Annual Academy Awards® telecast as it is broadcast live on multiple giant screens throughout the ballroom. This
year, WGN Radio’s John “the Voice of Chicago” Williams will be working his magic on the microphone, serving as our Host and Master of Ceremonies. During the telecast,
guests are encouraged to move around, mingle, and bid high and often for their favorite auction and raffle items located on the dance floor. During each commercial break,
guest will enjoy special presentations, raffle drawings, and entertainment including the winners of the auction and raffle.

: What to Expect

: Our guest can expect special celebrity participation, hilarious comedy segments, delicious food and drink, and poignant moments about Autism, all rolled into the highest
profile fundraiser in Chicago on Hollywood’s biggest night!
