87.7 good-bye note

Smooth 87.7 says goodbye to fans:

As some of you may be aware, the format of Smooth 87.7 will be changing to Alternative Rock effective this Monday (4/30). The owners of WLFM entered into an LMA agreement with another company who will now operate all phases of 87.7FM.

Much of the reason was based on the fact that the FCC would not give the owners of WLFM the assurance that we could continue to broadcast, in the long run, as an analog radio station.

We had a great run of three years. From Rick, Pat, Loni, Bill, Kenny, Sandy and many more who put their heart and souls into this radio station, we want to thank you for your loyalty. We made a lot of friends and will miss each and every one of you.
