I gave Phil his first commercial radio job (WLTH, Gary, IN). WHAT A VOICE. I could not believe that it came out of a recent high school graduate.

We worked together again at WBBM-FM in Chicago when he was still there part-time while attending college.

Phil was a faithful friend to the end and I am so blessed to have had him as a friend, though most of the time it was "long distance", for over forty years.
