Darren Davis, vice president of programming and operations for Clear Channel Radio's Chicago stations, was promoted Monday to senior vice president of programming for the company.

Davis, who'll continue to be based in Chicago, will oversee 148 stations in 25 markets. A search is on for his successor at the six-station cluster here.
