I used to actually enjoy WNUA in the late '80s/early '90s. At the time they were playing acts like Shadowfax (dark, ambient), Paul Hardcastle (cool electronic R&B vibe), Swing Out Sister (jazzy lounge pop), alongside the annoying Kenny G type stuff. Then it went into a period where *everything* was sounding like Kenny G and sounding alike. I quit listening. And I used to play sax ... the whole Kenny G movement kinda depressed me. It helped push me to sell my horn and focus more on keyboard.
