Cumulus names new market manager for WLS

Four months after Chicago radio veteran Michael Damsky was forced to step down as president and general manager of news/talk WLS-AM (890) and oldies WLS-FM (94.7), a new market manager is stepping into the Cumulus Media stations. Donna Baker, who most recently headed the three Cumulus stations in Houston, Monday was named Chicago market manager over WLS, effective July 30. Baker, who previously was market manager for Cumulus in Kansas City, has been listed among Radio Ink’s Most Influential Women in Radio for the past two years.
