CBS ex-Talk WCKG/CHICAGO makes the widely-predicted move to AC as "FRESH 105.9," with the formal flip occurring at 5p CT after a day of simulcasts with sister CBS CHICAGO stations. The format mirrors that of sister AC WWFS (FRESH 102.7)/NEW YORK, with core artists including JOHN MAYER, KELLY CLARKSON, MAROON 5, ROB THOMAS, GWEN STEFANI, and DAUGHTRY. Sister Country WUSN (US 99) VP/GM DAVE ROBBINS adds VP/GM duties for FRESH, and WUSN PD MIKE PETERSON will add PD duties for FRESH as well. Cluster Dir. of Sales GABE TARTAGLIA will remain Station Manager for WCKG.
