Lots to cover in this status update, so I'll do it in two parts.

Part 1: The Ending

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am leaving my position at WGVU-AM Real Oldies 1480/850 - and with it, full-time radio - at the end of this week. The station will be in the very capable hands of Bill Bailey, a veteran of stations including WLS. Special thanks to everyone who has listened, supported, and spread the word about a very special radio station.

I may turn up as a fill-in from time to time, I'll still be heard on "The Free Beer and Hot Wings Show", and I'll still be out there somewhere telling you that your call is important and will be answered in the order in which it was received. It's been a wild 25-year ride, and I don't think I would have traded it for anything, except what I am trading it for...
