Next week will mark the 25th anniversary of Dick Biondi's return to Chicago radio.

The legendary rock 'n' roll disc jockey was working in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., when he was invited to fill in for a week on CBS Radio Top 40 WBBM-FM (96.3) in July 1983. That led to a full-time job offer -- and he's been on the air here ever since.

Still going strong at age 75, Biondi is hosting evenings at Citadel Broadcasting oldies WLS-FM (94.7).
