Remember Conan O'Brien last year in Chicago with 90 year old Maureen O'Looney? (see video link) WSBC-WCFJ American Irish radio network host Maureen is retiring this Wednesday after 40 years. NW sider Mary Gormally (from Swinford, County Mayo, Ireland) says Maureen's also from County Mayo, Ireland, and they came here 60 years ago in 1953. The last Maureen O'Looney show is Wednesday 8:30pm-10 on WSBC-WCFJ. Years ago Maureen opened Shamrock Imports (Laramie-Belmont) near the WSBC/WSCR/WXRT building, but now it's in the Irish Heritage Center (Knox-Wilson) and in this Conan O'Brien video:
