Good news for radio veteran Bonnie "Hey, Baby" DeShong, who co-hosted afternoons at Clear Channel Radio urban adult-contemporary WVAZ-FM (102.7) and co-hosted mornings at Crawford Broadcasting urban adult WSRB-FM (106.3).

She's back on the radio as host of "The Traveling Eye," a full-service travel show airing from 4 to 5 p.m. Sundays on Midway Broadcasting urban/talk WVON-AM (1690). Her co-host is travel industry exec Ja'Vonne Harley.

DeShong also joins WVON's Santita Jackson at 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays for the "Desirable Destinations" segment.

Off the radio, she continues as a movie critic for the Chicago Crusader and co-host of Chicago Municipal Television's "Chicago Works" with Gene Honda.
