Think Pink Radio to become a podcast

Chicago's only music radio for LGBT people is leaving the airwaves and transitioning to a weekly podcast format at the end of July.

Think Pink Radio, which has aired on 88.7FM for the past five years, will have its last on-air broadcast July 29, 6-8 p.m., before it hops on the podcasting bandwagon.

To help celebrate the change, as well as its fifth year anniversary, Think Pink will hold a party on July 24 at The Bijou, 1349 N. Wells, 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Cost is $10. The event includes performances by Nichole Garneau, Les Bo-Bo the Clown, S.I.R. and JSun Howard.

See www.thinkpinkradio.com for more information.
