In a timely documentary from Bill Kurtis' Chicago-based Kurtis Productions, CNBC will premiere "American Originals: Budweiser" at 8 and 11 tonight.

The special profiles Anheuser-Busch and reports on the firm's takeover by Belgium's InBev.
