I feel bad for Alan Cox and Jim Lynam. They came in thinking the "Morning Fix" concept was going to knock it out of the park. I never really liked the Morning Fix show at all though. It was way too scripted.
As far as numbers go, I don't know how much was their fault and how much has to do with Q101 tanking overall and just Chicago being a crappy market for young rock radio.
Sherman and Tingle seem to have some stuff going on I guess. I wouldn't call them superstars either though. The "taps at the 10, trash at the 30s" is all I remember from their shows. That and Sherman: "Q101" Tingle: "Chicago's Alternative!" So if making you remember catchy phrases is the key to success, they will do well.
