Philly Host Ed Harvey Dies At 90

Condolences to family and friends of PHILADELPHIA talk radio pioneer ED HARVEY, who died of cancer WEDNESDAY at 92.

HARVEY, who started at WBBM-A/CHICAGO, hosted at the old WCAU-A (now WPHT-A) in the 50's and 60's (as well as then-sister station WCAU-TV), and later hosted on BEASLEY Talk WWDB-A. He also owned WYIS-A/PHOENIXVILLE (now Spanish Religion WPHE-A) and served as Vice President of the BROADCAST PIONEERS OF PHILADELPHIA.
