Moody Radio Shifts Staff

MOODY RADIO/CHICAGO announced a shift from magazine/music format to talk/teaching format. With the shift in programming comes a movement of team members from the existing MOODY RADIO NETWORK and local radio stations, creating a new corporate leadership team.

The new structure will include five major working units under the corporate leadership team. BRUCE EVERHART moves from SM to Manager of Development and Marketing for MOODY RADIO. COLLIN LAMBERT moves from WMBI PD to CHICAGO Programming Team Manager. JOHN HAYDEN moves from WMBI Operations Director to Manager of CHICAGO Broadcast Operations. DENNY NUGENT will continue as National PD, coordinating national programming, ratings, research, branding and formatics. MIKE BINGHAM will continue as Manager/MOODY RADIO GROUP, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the MOODY-owned and -operated stations.

The corporate leadership team includes VP/Broadcasting WAYNE PEDERSON and GM of Administration for MOODY RADIO Doug Hastings (previously Manager of MOODY BROADCASTING NETWORK). Amy Rios will also work closely with PEDERSON and HASTINGS in administration and planning, and coordinate the activities of the administrative support team for MOODY RADIO CHICAGO.

"I'm grateful for our leadership team as well as our dedicated and gifted professional radio talent," said PEDERSON. "I pray these changes will help us work together more effectively and efficiently to advance the cause of Christ through Christian radio."
